This Mantra is traditionally used for protection and to bring abundance. The first step in bringing prosperity into your life is gratitude, sometimes even in the midst of challenges or perceived scarcity. I was experiencing a challenging time in my life and I wrote the english verse as a gratitude practice to remind myself that every moment I have the opportunity to practice deep gratitude for being alive, for each breath, for each glorious precious heartbeat.

I am so grateful and I am so blessed for all that i have been given for all of this for all of this

“There is a long history of scholars attempting to deny the phrase Ayka Maee as meaning “One Divine Mother” and instead translating it to the word maya, which means illusion. “There is a long history of scholars attempting to deny the phrase Ayka Maee as meaning “One Divine Mother” and instead translating it to the word maya, which means illusion. This is believed to be due to the patriarchal bent of various scholars over the years. As we continue to work to break free from the conditioning of our patriarchal society, we can tap into the energy of this mantra to celebrate and acknowledge the vital female dimension grounded in the universal human condition.Recite this mantra in recognition of its original intention: of honoring the “One Divine Mother.” – Puranjot Kaur Khalsa, Spirit Voyage blog

When I sat down to record this mantra a brand new english verse came through. Instead of my previously created lyrical translation of the mantra the speaker voice changed and suddenly the Divine Mother herself was speaking. This is her message to us all, her beautiful children.

My Darling my child no matter how many miles there’s nothing in the whole wide world that can take my love from inside of you that can take my love away

aykaa maa-ee jugat vi-aa-ee tin chaylay parvaan. ik sansaaree ik bhandaaree ik laa-ay deebaan. jiv tis bhaavai tivai chalaavai jiv hovai furmaan. oh vaykhai onaa nadar na aavai bahutaa ayhu vidaan. aadays tisai aadays. aad aneel anaad anaahat jug jug ayko vays.

translation: The One Divine Mother, the visible world, gave birth alone to three deities One, the Creator of the World; One, the Sustainer; and One, the Destroyer Everything goes as That One decrees, and all are under divine Command The Creatress watches over all, and, marvel of marvels, remains invisible to all. How wonderful this is! I bow to Her, I humbly bow The Primal One, the Pure Light, without beginning, without end. Throughout all the ages, She is One and the Same
